Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 To Focus More On Story Telling

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 To Focus More On Story Telling

During a recent Famitsu interview with Bandai Namco Producer, Yusuke Sasaki, and CyberConnect2 President, Hiroshi Matsuyama, they talked about the enhanced cinematic story telling in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3.

'

Those of you who follow the Naruto anime or manga might know how the story has been building up to a climax in the recent Shinobi World War Arc. Plenty of battles from that arc will be playable in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, but the story telling aspect was actually a huge focus in the development of the game.

'

CyberConnect2 President and CEO, Hiroshi Matsuyama, said that each chapter was made by the development team with the thought process of making a feature film. He believes that completing a chapter will reward the player with the same satisfactory feeling you get from finishing a movie.

'

“What surprised me the most was Chapter 4 in story mode. It revolves around the story of Naruto’s mother, Kushina, and the Nine-Tails event. The original story is very moving and its entire episode is included in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3.” said Sasaki. There aren’t too many battles in the chapter and the event scenes alone take up about one and a half hours. The scenes are also in full motion with real-time 3D characters, instead of still frame pictures, too.”

'

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is slated to be released on March 5th for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Monster Hunter 4s New Trailer Shows Fearsome Beasts And Dazzling Armor

In our earlier report, we took a closer look at Monster Hunter 4 cover monster, Goa Magara. Well, now you can get an even closer look at him in action, along with several other new and old monsters, in the game’s latest hunting packed trailer.

The trailer starts with a nice look at Barubare village and some of the first monsters that were introduced for Monster Hunter 4. About halfway through the trailer, Goa Magara is seen dashing and shooting dark breath attacks towards the helpless Hunter. Next up, is the Genel Sertas, a fearsome scorpion-type monster, who consumes its own friendly insects as a way to gain stamina.
